Monero Love is now on SimpleX
Join the Monero Love SimpleX channel for new articles and XMR price alerts. Our public messaging and file servers support clearnet and Tor connections.
Monero Love now runs public SimpleX messaging and file servers, with clearnet and Tor addresses. Anyone can use them. We also have a channel for new articles and XMR price alerts.
Join the channel
Open the channel in SimpleX Chat and select Join channel. Your current server settings will work.
News posts links to new Monero Love articles. Ticker sends XMR/USD price alerts using Kraken trade data. For a price on demand, open the Ticker chat from our SimpleX page and send !price.
The channel is public. Its posts are not end-to-end encrypted. Use a separate direct chat or private group for private conversations.
Use our public servers
Our messaging server is smp.monero.love. File transfers use xftp.monero.love. Both are open without a server password.
The server page has the full addresses, including their onion endpoints. Copy them into Settings → Network & servers in the app, run the app's server tests, then save. Use the full server links rather than typing the hostnames alone.
Tor connections need a working Tor proxy configured in the app, even when the server address includes an onion hostname.
