Cuprate's FCMP++ Development Proposal Reaches Funding Goal
Cuprate's FCMP++ integration proposal has reached its Monero community funding target. Here's what the planned development means for Monero's future.

Cuprate FCMP++ development reached its community funding target. On November 4, Boog900's proposal showed 85.05 XMR raised against an 85 XMR goal, with 67 displayed contributors.
Cuprate is an independent Monero node written in Rust. FCMP++ aims to obscure spent outputs among a much larger eligible set.
Development is still underway

The proposal funds tree construction, transaction relay, consensus verification and RPC interfaces connecting wallets to nodes. Tree development has started, but funding completion does not mean finished integration or mainnet activation.
Further engineering, review, testing and a coordinated network upgrade remain necessary. The proposal does not set an activation date.
